A woman of steadfast faith and boundless love, Vernell was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Betty Williams, her sister, Marvaleen Ross, and her brother, DJ Williams.

Her professional life was marked by dedication and diligence, having served as an office manager at numerous places, including Dynaflux, an industrial welding supply company.
