Brenda Hall-Bodenheimer (Coastal Cremations and Funeral Care)

WILMINGTON — Brenda Gail Hall Bodenheimer, aged 83, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2025, in Wilmington, NC. Born on December 20, 1941, Brenda lived a life filled with love, dedication, and service to her family and community.

A proud member of both the Bunker Hill Baptist Church and Union Cross Baptist Church, Brenda’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. Growing up in the NC Baptist Children’s Home, she carried the values and teachings of her early years into adulthood and instilled them in her own family. She attended Gardner Webb College, furthering her education and broadening her horizons.

Brenda spent part of her career at ITT Grinnell, Hatteras Yachts and Piedmont Airlines, where she was known for her hard work and commitment. Outside of her professional life, she was an avid gardener, a passionate painter, and a skilled canner, always enjoying the simple pleasures of life. She found peace and joy both in the mountains and at the beach, cherishing the natural beauty that surrounded her.

Brenda was a loving mother who raised her children in Kernersville, NC. Her nurturing spirit and unconditional love were constants in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, her grandson Cody Wayne Stanley, and her daughter-in-law Deedee Bodenheimer.

She leaves behind her devoted son Scott Bodenheimer and daughter Jodi Bodenheimer. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Austin Bodenheimer; Erin Keith and her husband Curtis; Payton Stanley; Ryan Huffman; and Payne Huffman. Additionally, her great-grandchildren Maverick, Alaina, Kynlee, and Kamryn Keith will carry forward her memory and love and several sisters.

The family would also like to thank our extended family that called her Mama Gail in Winston-Salem for their love, kindness and support also, Gentiva Hospice and Cedar Cove Assisted Living for the loving care that was given to her.

Though no services are planned at this time, Brenda’s family and friends will hold her close in their hearts, honoring her memory and the profound impact she had on their lives. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be dearly missed but forever remembered.
