Angelo Frank Inchierchiro (Quinn McGowen Funeral Home)

WILMINGTON — Angelo Frank Inchierchiro, age 76, passed from his earthly life Monday, February 10, 2025, at Lower Care Fear LifeCare in Wilmington with loving family at his bedside.

He was born May 28, 1948, in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Angelo Joseph Inchierchiro and Maria Josephine Ameruso Inchierchiro. In addition to his parents, Angelo was preceded in death by his sister, Rosalie Frank.

Angelo is survived by his wife, Mary Inchierchiro; daughters, Michele Pyres (Christopher) and Robyn Eason (Jason); grandchildren, Grace Pyres and Nathan Eason; great granddaughter, Gracelyn DeVane; brother, Robert Inchierchiro (Vanessa); sister, Joan Galante (Robert); sisters-in-law, Catherine Nilsen, Louise Lentini, and Carol Moran (Andy); many nieces, nephews and friends.

Angelo served his country proudly and loyally in the US Marine Corps with great valor and patriotism.

Angelo was an avid motorcyclist and a true family man. He served in the Marine Corps as a Lance Corporal in 29 Palms, California and trained as a Red Eye Missile Gunner on standby during the Vietnam War. After his military tour of duty, Angelo became a Police officer on Long Island, New York. He loved good laughs and fun times. He was always good for making you chuckle or smile on a rainy day. He was the protector and watched over his family with endless care. All who knew Angelo, could feel the “Love” he showed to them. Family was the world to Angelo, and he will be missed greatly!

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel with Rev. David Knowles conducting the service. The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts in honor and memory Angelo may be given to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Foundation, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Wilmington for the excellent compassionate care given to Angelo and to the family.
