WILMINGTON — Melanie Jarrell Swartz, 77, of Wilmington, NC passed away on February 2, 2025.
She was born in Wilmington, NC daughter of Ralph Mills Jarrell and Mildred Olivia Parker Jarrell.
Melanie met Wayne P. Swartz in 1968 at the Wilmington Police Department, where they both worked at and were married in June 1969.
Melanie is survived by her husband, Wayne P. Swartz; daughter, Heather Leah Swartz and several of family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Saturday February 15, 2025 at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service at Greenlawn, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412
Funeral Service will be start at 2:00pm on Saturday February 15, 2025 in the Coble Chapel with Pastor DeWayne Dickerson officiating. Interment will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens, 306 Bradley Drive, Wilmington, NC 28409.
