LELAND — Gearldine Beasley, 80, of Leland, passed away on January 31, 2025. She was born on October 23, 1944, in Loris, SC to the late William Gaston and Letha Mantha Canady Suggs.
Gearldine worked in Food Service for most of her working career. Her favorite interests and achievements included sewing, watching the Hallmark Channel and The Food Network, and watching Basketball and Racing. She attended Gibson Avenue Baptist Church. Gearldine was a loving woman, always there as a base of support for her family and friends. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed..
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lorenzo Thomas Beasley, and a brother, Kenny Suggs.
Survivors include two sons: Rob Beasley of Leland and Jamie Beasley (Sharon) of Sanford; one grandson, Kevin Beasley of Byron, GA; one great-granddaughter, Harper Beasley; a brother, Buddy Suggs (Joyce) of Chinquapin; three sisters: Billie Grainger of Wilmington, Burlynne Baxley (Stan) of Hemingway, SC and Sandra White (Larry) of Leland.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Sandi Ferris and Dennis Grainger for the loving support they provided to Gearldine.
