LELAND — Bergetta A. Deich, 51, of Leland, NC, died Thursday, January 23, 2025, at her home.
Bergetta Anne Deich Born 1973 To Frank and Bergetta Anne Sylvester in Camden, NJ.
She is survived by her sisters Kathryn, Amanda and Rose, brother Frank and her sons Drew and Devon.
Bergetta loved music, art and magic she was also a ballet dancer. She performed magic and was a clown named “Patches” as a children’s entertainer amazing them all with her talent and smile. She had a master’s degree in business and worked several years as a human resources executive, Bergetta felt a calling to return to Nursing and became a hospice nurse.
She moved from NJ in 2022 to Wilmington, NC to be with her now husband and they married in 2024. Bergetta and Don purchased a house in Leland, NC where he resides.
Bergetta will be missed by all who met her as her smile would light up a room and she always had a comforting word to all.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Friday, February 7, 2025, at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel. Committal will follow in Oleander Memorial Gardens.
