SOUTHPORT — Michael Christopher Prout, 39 years old, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 18, 2024.
He was born in Quincy, Massachusetts, and also lived in Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Michael spent his last years living in Georgia, as a devoted dad to his daughters, Brooklynn and Zooey. He found a renewed life in Christ in the 12 Stone Church. Michael is also survived by his parents Stephen and Annette Prout; brothers, Keith and John (Kayla Huff); several aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
His laughter, comedic timing, and love for music and performing will be missed by all. Michael worked for Stuart Pro HVAC, a company he loved and had many friends.
Inurnment will be held, after a short ceremony, on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Southport, North Carolina.
