WILMINGTON — Jason Howard Walton, born on January 11, 1975, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, passed away suddenly on January 2, 2025, in Wilmington, North Carolina, at the age of 49.
Jason was a dedicated professional in the Information Technology field, where he made significant contributions throughout his career. His commitment to excellence and innovation was evident in all his endeavors. He was also a devoted scout leader, imparting valuable skills and life lessons to young minds.
Jason was a member of the Methodist faith, where he found strength and community. His educational achievements include two Associate Degrees, reflecting his commitment to lifelong learning and personal growth.
Jason is survived by his parents, Larry Joseph Walton and Alma Paulette Campbell Walton. He also leaves behind two beloved children, who were the light of his life.
