WILMINGTON — Charles Gold Harrill, Jr, 80, died November 1 at home with his family.
He was born in St Joseph, Missouri to Charles, Sr and Joan Harrill.
He devoted 40 plus years to serving and building relationships with clients as an insurance broker.
His love of fishing led to becoming a charter boat captain for 11 years.
He was a faithful and active member of Holy Cross Episcopal Church, Got-Em-On Live Bait Club, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry and Sudan Shriners.
In addition to his parents Chuck was predeceased by his sister Susie Stancil and brother Donnie Harrill.
He is survived by his wife Pat; children-Lisa Queen, Charles Harrill III (Lori), Noel Stamp; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; sister Barbara Fulp (Tom); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Holy Cross Episcopal Church 5820 Myrtle Grove Rd Wilmington, NC 28409 on December 7, 2024 at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holy Cross Episcopal Church or a charity of your choice.
Chuck will always be remembered as a funny, generous, loving and a bit mischievous man.
