SOUTHPORT — Rodney Glen Williams, age 86, of Southport, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
Born in Michigan in 1938 a son of the late Hoyte and Annie Louise Cummings Williams. Mr. Williams was a retired security officer, he was a hard worker, enjoyed meeting people, a member of the masonic lodge Lynnhaven in Virginia Beach, Virginia and a shriner and a member of the Khedive Shrine Club, avid nascar fan and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years; Frances Williams, a daughter Caroline Williams both of Southport; son Ted Williams and wife Paige of Jacksonville, Fl; grandchildren Cory Williams of Southport and 4 other grandchildren and a great grandchild of Virginia Beach, Va. In addition to his parents Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his daughter Susan Williams.
Funeral arrangements will be private.
