SOUTHPORT — Kenneth Ray Stewart, age 75, of Southport, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024.
Mr. Stewart was born June 1, 1949 in Marion, Indiana, son of the late Basil and Charlene Stewart. Ken was best known as the owner of Stewart’s Hardware in Southport for 31 years.
Survivors include his children, Hannah Stewart and husband Doug Dixon, and Benjamin Stewart and wife Mallory Daudistel; three grandchildren, Senator, William, and Melody; two sisters, Myra Stewart and Karen Donner; and his loving companion, Debra Sturkey.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Sandra Stewart.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
