OAK ISLAND — Mary Lou Nolan, age 78, of Oak Island, North Carolina passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024.
Mrs. Nolan was born April 6, 1946 in Washington, DC, daughter of the late Joseph and Edna Mae Nolan.
Survivors include her husband, Russell Gene Smith; two daughters, Angela Jones and husband Brian, and Michelle Green; and four grandchildren, Abigail Aurilio, Freeman Jones, Jedidiah Aurilio, and Haley Jones.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Moore; and a brother, Larry Nolan.
A celebration of her life will be held in Raleigh, NC on Saturday, November 16, 2024 with a place and time to be determined.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to St. Joseph’s Indian School or to your local SPCA.
