OAK ISLAND — Polly Woody Foster, 91, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2024.
In addition to her parents, Polly was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Fred T. Foster, Jr.
Polly is survived by her daughter, Ann Woody Foster of Southport, NC, and her son, Taylor Foster (Carolyn) of Collierville, TN, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A private service will be held for the family at a later time in Humboldt, TN.
The family requests that donations in her memory be made to Ocean View United Methodist Church, 8400 E. Oak Island Drive, Oak Island, NC 28465, or Collierville United Methodist Church, 454 W. Poplar Avenue, Collierville, TN 38017.
