WILMINGTON — Lillie Ford Newkirk, age 100, of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024.
A public viewing will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S 5th Ave., Wilmington, NC 28401.
A celebration of Ms. Newkirk’s life will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 2929 Princess Place, Wilmington, NC 28405.
Interment will follow at Cherry Grove Cemetery.
Her love and memories will remain in the heart of her children, Aneta Carter of the home and Elton Orlando Newkirk (Stephanie) of Wilmington, six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, two step grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
