SOUTHPORT — Anthony Zezza Jr., loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2024, at the age of 77.
Born on December 17, 1946, in Mount Vernon, New York, Anthony was a resident of St. James Plantation in Southport, North Carolina, where he and his beloved wife, Belinda Zezza, built their dream home in 2015.
Anthony was a devoted family man who cherished his time with Belinda. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Michael Zezza and Jennifer Zezza, who will forever hold their father’s memory in their hearts. Michael is married to Sara Zezza, Anthony’s daughter-in-law and the mother of his cherished grandson, Geno Zezza. Anthony’s loyal companion, his dog Bentley, was always by his side, providing joy and comfort.
For many years, Anthony worked as a Senior Project Manager for Verticon, where his dedication and expertise made a lasting impact. He was well-respected by his colleagues and those who had the privilege of working with him.
Anthony’s life was a testament to the values of hard work, love, and devotion to family. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, his kind heart, and his unwavering commitment to those he loved. His presence will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the joy of knowing him.
The Zezza family plans to celebrate Anthony’s life at a later date, which will be announced.
