SOUTHPORT — Patricia Ann “Patty” Haney, age 77, of Southport, North Carolina passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024.
Mrs. Haney was born September 2, 1947 in Hagerstown, Maryland, daughter of the late Bill and Evelyn Spade. She graduated from North High School in Hagerstown in 1965. Patty then graduated from Washington Bible College in Washington, DC in 1970. In addition to being an Optician, she had been a Christian School Teacher. After her teaching career, she worked for the North Carolina Ferry Division in Southport, North Carolina.
Survivors include her husband, Hank Haney; a sister, Shelbie Keplinger; and a brother, Rod Spade.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Broadfording Church of God in Hagerstown, Maryland.
