SOUTHPORT — It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Annette “Nettie” Frye – Bentz, age 58, of Southport, North Carolina on Monday, September 9, 2024.
Nettie always had such a spunky spirit about her, and she was looking forward to the next chapter in her life. Nettie was a private person and incredibly passionate about her family, friends, career, exercising and bowling with friends.
Nettie was very proud and took pride in her beautiful home and the community she was discovering within St. James. She loved it here and every friendship she made was special to her.
Nettie was born March 17, 1966 in Cheverly, MD, daughter of the late Frederick and Sharon Frye.
Survivors include her husband, Joey Bentz; a step-daughter, Brooke Bentz; a brother, Fred Frye, Jr.; a twin sister, Susie Timmermann and husband Steve; and three nieces, Kaylee, Clara, and Mykayla.
A private service will be held for the family.
