WILMINGTON — After living a full life our precious Mama has gone on to be with the Lord and the love of her life in heaven on Sunday, September 8, 2024.
Mabel was born June 16, 1931 in Uniondale, PA to Daisy and John Shager.
She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years Thomas, her son Tommy, brothers Jack and Clarance, and sisters Ruth Ann and Beverly.
She leaves behind her daughter and son in law Debi and Ted Hammonds, granddaughters Stefanie(Jamie) and Corie(Mark) and great grandchildren Hunter, Laney, Lexi and Brayden. Also a brother Phil and sister Marlene and a host of family and friends.
If you knew Grannie you knew her as the BINGO Queen. In remembrance of her please play a game in her honor.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon her.
May she rest in peace.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Boulevard, Wilmington, NC.
