WILMINGTON — Willie B. “Pa” Robison made his way home to see his Savior Jesus face to face and to be reunited with many family members and friends at the age of 94 surrounded by his family.
Pa spent his entire life loving people, fishing and gardening, He loved and cared for his family and others alongside his loving wife of 60 years, Marie “Ma” often “adopting” others into their family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Ida Williams Robison, all but one of his eight siblings, a son, Ricky Robison, a daughter-in-love Sandy Robison; a grandson, Stevie Bryant; a great-grandson, Brett Sullivan and a great-grandson-in-love, Todd Faircloth.
He is survived by a son, Bill Wesley Robison (Felicia); daughters, Betty Bryant (Billy) and Teresa Robison; grandchildren, Lisa Colvard, Nathan Bryant, Marsha Cannon, Stacy Glidden (Adam) and Willie A. Robison; great-grandchildren, Tisha Lodzinski, Ayle Webb (Dexter), Adrianna Faircloth, Ryan Ethridge, Parker Lundy, Danielle Wilson, Johnathan Como, Ayden Cannon, Seth Glidden, Naomi Morton (Walt) and great-great-grandchildren, Addyson Webb, Abbygail Webb and James Todd Faircloth; a brother, Purlie Robison (Naomi); numerous nieces and nephews that he loved as his own a multitude of “adoptive” Children.
The family will receive family and friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be: Devin Severt, Huck Smith, Tim Saunders, Jim Jacobs, Dallas Thompson and Wayne Averett.
