SOUTHPORT — Joseph Bardani Gargagliano, age 68, of Southport, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024.
Joseph was born March 18, 1956 in Imperia, Italy, son of the late Frank and Caroline Gargagliano.
Survivors include his two daughters, Rachael Gargagliano and Caroline Webb Gargagliano; his significant other, Cathe Thompson; a brother, Franco Romano; three nieces, Ginamarie Miller, Francesca Weaver, and Jordan Daywalt; and four nephews, Marco Romano, Chris Daywalt, Nicholas Romano, and William Romano.
An amazing award winning artist, Joseph taught at The Brunswick College and The Bardani Studio His inspiration and encouragement touched so many. He created The Bardani Gallery, a collective of 15 talented artists. An accomplished musician, he performed original music as well as covers in Southport. He was loved by many and loved hard right back.
A celebration of his life will be held at The Preserve Clubhouse 7100 Marsh Grove Lane, Southport, NC on Sunday, September 8, 2024 from noon to 4 p.m.
