LELAND — Sampson Robert Clemmons, 29 of Leland, North Carolina was escorted to Heaven by Jesus on July 18, 2024.
He was born in Wilmington, NC on May 02, 1995 to Michael Clemmons, Sr. and Jan Thomas Clemmons.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert and Louise Clemmons and Judy Majewski.
Sampson had the strongest spirit, he fought his whole life until the pain was so severe, he told Jesus he was ready to come home. His mom was his favorite person, who also fought by his side until the end. His light will never grow dim, it will always carry on through his family and friends. Sampson loved baseball and his friends, but most of all he loved being with his family.
Sampson is survived by his mother, Jan Thomas Clemmons of the home; sister, Hannah Matthews and husband Justin of Leland, NC; brother, Michael Clemmons Jr. (Ashley Hardee) of Wilmington, NC; and grandfather Johnnie Majewski.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at The River of Life Worship Center, 3504 Carolina Beach Road, Wilmington, NC with Maude Faulkner officiating.
