Terry “Skip” Hall II (Quinn McGowen Funeral Home)

ROCKY POINT — Terry “Skip” Hall II, beloved husband and devoted Mason, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 53 on Friday, June 14, 2024, while enjoying his favorite hobby at his home in Rocky Point, NC. He leaves behind his wife, Ginny Orme, daughter, Mason Hall, parents, Terry and Patricia Hall and sister, Jennifer Hall Everline and family.

Skip grew up in Lovettsville, VA, graduating from LVHS and later attending West Virginia University. He worked with his hands throughout his career in home renovation, traditional plastering and commercial property maintenance. While married to Jules Hall and living in Shepherdstown, WV, he helped raise three beautiful children, Tyler Walker, Camille Walker and Nathalie Walker. He later had the joy of a child of his own, Mason Hall. Skip was a proud member of Mt. Nebo Lodge in Shepherdstown, WV and maintained the relationship with his brothers after moving to North Carolina. In recent years, Skip applied his skills to an extensive renovation of his home in Rocky Point.

Skip will be remembered for his quick wit, hearty laughter and willingness to lend a hand. He was the man who stopped to help a stranger change a tire, took time to guide a lost dog home, and was ready to help a friend in need.

Skip’s remains will be scattered in a private event. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to their favorite charity in Skip’s name.

Shared memories and condolences may be sent to the family here.
