HAMPSTEAD — Our beloved mother and grandmother, Margaret Lucera, passed away on June 5, 2024, at the age of 83. at her home in Hampstead, NC, surrounded by her husband, Don, and son, Donald.
Margaret, affectionately known as Margie, was the heart of our family. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Don(87), and lovingly raised three children, Donna (65), Dean (60), and Donald (50), in a warm and happy home in West Babylon, New York. In addition to her immediate family, she is also survived by her sister – Joann Black, 11 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Known for her infectious laughter and compassionate nature, Margie was the epitome of selflessness and devoted her life to her family. Her absence has left a profound void in our hearts, and we deeply miss her presence. Whether you knew her for a minute or a lifetime, her presence left a lasting impression on all she encountered.
