WILMINGTON — Sylvia W. Fisher of Wilmington, died June 11, 2024.
Born February 14, 1931, the daughter of William and Naomi Watson.
Survived by her children: Pamela Snyder (John) of Wellesley, MA, Carlton Fisher (Julie) of Wilmington, and Diana Abbott of Wilmington.
Grandchildren: Jeremy Snyder, Matthew Snyder, Mason Fisher, and Anna Fisher
Several nieces and nephews
Predeceased by her husband, Herbert T. Fisher, whom she met when they were students at New Hanover High School. They were long-time members of First Baptist Church and loyal supporters of UNCW.
The family wishes to thank Cambridge Village of Wilmington, Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Dr. Mark E. Williams, and Sylvia’s many kind and thoughtful caregivers.
