ROCKY POINT — Aiden Chase Radke, age 7, our gift from God flew on wings of angels on Thursday, May 23, 2024 to his heavenly home. His parents along with twin sister, Riley, made the decision following his tragic accident for organ donation through HonorBridge, giving life to four other people.
Aiden was born May 21, 2017, the beloved son of Chris and Melissa Radke; twin brother of Riley; and grandson of Karen Hatfield and B J O’Neal (Wayne Chappell). Aiden also leaves many extended family members and caring friends to cherish his memory.
Aiden was completing the first grade at Cape Fear Elementary School. He loved school and all of his classmates.
He was known for his infectious smile that could light up the darkest room. He learned selflessness from his mama, Melissa, and was a reflection of her love everywhere he went. This selflessness and love have touched countless lives and will continue to touch many more. He gave the sweetest hugs and was the most loving friend to every soul he crossed paths with.
Aiden loved strawberries and wanted to be a fireman just like his daddy. Aiden will live out that dream forever riding along side Chris and watching over his dad as his right hand man.
Aiden had a best friend since birth in his twin sister, Riley. The love and bond they share will continue to live on. She will carry him in her heart and Aiden will forever be her guardian angel.
Aiden has been a light that will continue to shine brightly through his everlasting legacy of love. He has the greatest superpower and will forever be a hero.
A visitation will be Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm.
