LELAND — Sheri Lynn Arthurs, age 73, of Leland, NC, peacefully passed away on May 10, 2024, due to heart complications.
She was born on May 25, 1950, in Steubenville, OH, and was the daughter of the late Rachel and Gordon Arthurs. Sheri was also preceded in death by her brother, Bill Arthurs.
Sheri dedicated many years of her life to her work at Ohio Bell Telephone Company, starting in Steubenville, OH, and later moving to Columbus, OH. She attended Steubenville Big Red High School and Jeff Tech in her youth.
A faithful member of Port City Community Church in Wilmington, NC, and Leland, NC, Sheri found solace and community in her church family. She shared a loving home in Leland with her devoted cat, Archie, near her sister, Mary Jane (Arthurs) Cunningham, and her husband, Tom Cunningham, along with their nieces and nephews.
At this time, there will be no services held for Sheri Lynn Arthurs, as her family and friends remember her with love and fondness. May she rest in peace.
