WILMINGTON — Suffragan Bishop (Emeritus) Robert Louis Rich, Sr., age 83, of Roseboro (formerly of Wilmington), passed away Monday, May 6, 2024.
A celebration of Bishop (Emeritus) Rich’s life will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 4925 New Centre Dr., Wilmington, NC 28403. A viewing will be held one (1) hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
His love and memories will remain in the heart of his wife, Allidease Rich of the home; children, Minister Angela Scull (Minister Maurice Scull) of Charlotte, Leon Rich of Greensboro, Joanna Ayers (Elder John Ayers) of Elgin, SC, Minister Susanna Rich (Nathaniel Ingram) of Charlotte, Minister Bobbie Brown (Elder Mark Brown) of Carolina Beach, Sandy Holiday of Wilmington, Minister Roberta Foster (Pastor James Foster) of St. Joseph, MO, Robert Rich, JR. of Carolina Beach, Angela Gee (Bishop Theophilus Gee) of Timmonsville, SC, Andrew Pollard (Rose) of Charlotte, Alicia Grant (Pastor Alfred Grant) of Johns Island, SC and Anita Grant (Elder Joseph Grant) of Woodbridge, VA; sister, Dorcas Vann of Wichita, KS, 32 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
