Steven “Steve” Wayne Boggs, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother unexpectedly passed away on April 21, 2024. Born on July 17, 1962, Steve leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew him.
Steve is survived by his devoted wife, Teresa Boggs and his children, Abbey, Christopher (Maggie), Maria Faith (Holden), Daniel, Mike (Annie), Caitlyn, and John David. Steve is also survived by his grandchildren, Jamie, Jim, Jack, Frankie, Rowan, and Sophia who he adored more than anything in the world. He also leaves behind his mother, Frances Boggs, and siblings Robert (and wife Rebecca), Debbie (and husband Rob Wilfong), Keith (and wife Kris), and Kristy. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Robert Boggs and his daughter Mary Frances Boggs.
A true family man, Steve cherished the simple moments spent together, whether it was gathering by the pool or cooking in the outdoor kitchen. His love for his family knew no bounds, and he took great joy in caring for his family. To anyone that had the pleasure of knowing Steve, they often described him as their best friend.
Steve’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the countless lives he touched with his kindness and compassion.
In honor of his memory, a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 27, at 1 p.m. at his family home, where friends and loved ones will come together to share stories, laughter, and memories of a life well-lived.
Though Steve may no longer be with us in person, his love and legacy will continue to inspire us. May he rest in peace, knowing that he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
