WILMINGTON — Patsy Louise Bryant Britt, 75 went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Patsy was born in Staunton Virginia on November 30, 1948 to Jessie Herman Bryant and Pearl Louise Bryant.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Thurman Bryant and sister Faye Trainum.
Patsy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved watching and reading horror stories, watching wrestling, and spending as much time with family as possible. She loved God and her favorite verse was Psalms 23. She loved animals and had many, including a parrot, a guinea pig, several dogs and cats through the years. She never met a stranger and would give you food from her own plate if she thought you were hungry. She will be missed by so many.
Patsy is survived by her son Robert Britt and wife Valerie; daughter: Teresa Machin and husband Robert; grandchildren: Jessie Cowan, Danielle Howard, Megan Britt, Morgan Britt, Kenneth Law and Courtney Britt; great grandchildren: Robbie, Delilah, Sophia, Landon C, Shalon, Christopher, Gabriel, MJ (Michael), Landon M, Sha’lyn, Asher and Jayden and lifelong friend Faye Pierce.
A Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday April 9, 2024 at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service, 1155 Shipyard Blvd. Wilmington NC 28412. The Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Tony Merritt, Hugie Long, Jeffrey Hubbard, Marcus Turner, Michael Whitehead and David Naylor.
