WILMINGTON — Wilton Herbert Phillips, II, born on September 16, 1952, in Lumberton, North Carolina, passed away on February 20, 2024, in Wilmington, North Carolina.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilton Herbert Phillips, I, and Beulah Bullock Phillips.
Wilton lived a life filled with dedication and love, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. He was a man of integrity and hard work, serving as an Industrial Electrician for over 45 years.
A proud graduate of John T. Hoggard High School in 1970, Wilton’s interests were centered around his cherished family and his church community at Pine Valley Church of Christ in Wilmington. His commitment to faith and service touched the lives of many.
Wilton is survived by his brother Ronald Phillips and wife Mary Gwen, his sisters Pat Andrews and Beth Martin, niece Caitlyn Phillips, nephews Ryan Phillips and wife Katherine, Tanner Martin, and Patrick Phillips, uncle Nelson Bullock, numerous cousins, and his loving church family.
A Celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Pine Valley Church of Christ, 3601 College Road, Wilmington, NC 28412.
