WILMINGTON — Albert Roland Dauphinais, born on September 27, 1948, in Wareham, MA, peacefully passed away on February 6, 2024, in Wilmington, NC at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare at 75 years old.

Roland had a long and fulfilling career, working for and retiring from DuPont after 28 dedicated years of service. He spent 26 years at Jackson Hewitt preparing taxes during his time at DuPont, as well. For a time, he also delivered parts for O’Reilly’s Auto Parts.

Roland also pursued his passion for theology by attending Seminary School to become a Vocational Pastor, helping to serve his community in matters of faith. He was a Vocational Pastor for Charity Baptist Church and Community Chapel Church.

One of Roland’s main interests and loves was WWE; he found joy and excitement in following the wrestling matches and storylines that paralleled with them. He also loved to stay busy with work, always finding fulfillment in staying productive.

Roland was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Nellie Dauphinais, his brother Ricky Dauphinais, and his sisters Joyce Rogers and Barbara Cannon. He leaves behind a cherished legacy and will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 56 years, Jeannette Dauphinais, his adored children, Tammy Dauphinais, Tim Dauphinais, and Tonya Adams, as well as 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren that will forever hold his memory in their hearts. He is also survived by his brother Pete Dauphinais, sister Linda Lacsamana, along with numerous extended family members and friends.

At this time, no services are planned, but Roland’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, Roland’s family has asked that friends and family consider a memorable contribution in his honor to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, who provided the care and support him, and his family, needed as he transitioned to his eternal rest.
