WILMINGTON — Steven Scott Jordan, 64, died February 3, 2024, in Wilmington, NC.
He was born in Southport N.C. May 12, 1959 to Clayton Thomas & Mary Helen Jordan.
He is survived by his siblings Jon (Ellen) Jordan, Don (Paula) Jordan, Shannon Zentmeyer, and Brenda Davis, his friends, Jeff & Devona, Joe, and Pastor Bennie at Grace Methodist Church.
Scott had many talents: writing, gardening, and creative pursuits. His life was an adventure in surviving cancer, drug addiction, loneliness, and isolation. He was a warrior in this regard.
He had an inner gentleness and great desire for inclusion and forgiveness–a prodigal son, like all of us–making our way home. Kudos to his love of beauty in all forms, and his resilience to heartbreak. When you see a cardinal, please remember him.
