WILMINGTON — Margareta Luise (Aumayr) Beer, age 92, of Wilmington passed away on November 3, 2023.
Margaret was born in Salzburg, Austria on November 8, 1930. She married Walter in 1952 and they emigrated to St Paul, MN, where they raised four sons. In 1983 Margaret and Walter moved to Wilmington, NC, where they stayed for the rest of their very full lives.
Margaret was preceded in death by Walter, her beloved husband of 73 years in 2021. She is survived by her four sons, 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The memory of Margaret’s vitality and intelligence lives on in our hearts.
