LELAND — Jamahl L. Taylor, born to Percy Wiggins & JoAnne Wiggins in Newark New Jersey, found in is home in Leland, North Carolina. He peacefully entered into eternal glory on September 1, 2023 at the age of 46.
Jamahl now reunites with his parents, Percy Wiggins and JoAnne Wiggins, his sibling Michelle Jackson, and his special love, Tameka Washington, in the loving embrace of eternity.
Jamahl’s heart overflowed with love for his children; Jamahl Washington, Javon Carpenter, Jamahl Taylor ll, Jamahl Taylor III, Jhizah Anderson, Jhi’Qari Taylor – Anderson, Lhamaj Taylor, Le’Quanunik Taylor, Irie Coker, Sherice Star Banks, Marquand Ward, Akera Murphy, Aquarius Murphy, Keavon Murphy, Tolea Delgado, Kaji Scott, and Kyonte Jones. He possessed a remarkable talent for uniting his family for any occasion, often while indulging in his delectable banana pudding.
His passion for music was evident through his frequent visits to music studios in Wilmington, North Carolina, where he crafted his own beats and rap sounds. The color green held a special place in his heart, and he shared countless memorable moments playing fantasy football with his cousin, Hasahn. His unwavering support for his beloved NFL team, The Philadelphia Eagles, and his admiration for the musical artistry of Mrs. Anita Baker were emblematic of his unique passions.
He is also fondly remembered by his siblings: Jermiesha Thomas, Stanley Taylor, Shanetta Carpenter, Julius Smith, Rahim Smith, and Matthew Stafford, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, and aunts.
