ROCKY POINT — Norma Watkins, age 84 of Rocky Point passed away on June 2, 2023.
She was born in Lynn, Massachusetts on July 14, 1938 to George and Mildred Sipple.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Watkins and son, Douglas Robert Sipple.
She enjoyed family and friends, cooking, spending time with her grandchildren.
She was a loving caring woman. She loved music and singing but most of all she was a great Mom.
She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by son, Henry Cowart Jr. and wife Michelle Cowart; daughters, Norma Blanton, Sharon Rowe and husband Bob; a special nephew, Gary Harootian and family, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great – grandchild.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday June 9, 2023 in the Coble Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel with Pastor Merrell McKoy officiating. Interment will follow the Funeral Service at Oleander Memorial Gardens, 306 Bradley Drive, Wilmington, NC 28409.
