WILMINGTON — Diana Lynn Grubbs passed away on November 20, 2022, at the Hospice Care Center in Wilmington. She was born on April 21, 1951, in Richlands, NC, the daughter of Dewitt and Peggy Marshburn.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Marshburn and son in law, Hoyle Hoover.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Emory “Nicky” Grubbs, Jr, son, Emory Nicholas Grubbs, III of Wilmington, NC, daughter, Sydney Hoover of Hickory, NC and five granddaughters.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Andrews Mortuary, 1617 Market Street, Wilmington. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023, at 2 PM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 12 N 6th Street, Wilmington.
Inurnment will immediately follow at Oakdale Cemetery.
