Dolores Lumer, 78, of Sneads Ferry passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023, surrounded by her family.
She was born June 28, 1944, in New York to the late Theodore and Helen Cope. She is survived by her husband Harry, her daughters Christine, Heather, Jennifer and Jessica and her husband Price. Her grandchildren were the light of her life; Nicholas, Brittany, Sarah, Billy, Matthew, Dory, Ayden, Nash, Kaleb, Isabel, and Mason.
Dolores was a devoted wife and mother. She was a wonderful friend to all she met. She loved being outside in the sunshine, either gardening or watching the birds.
Dolores had many ventures in her life. From making ice cream in their ice cream shop, to selling fashion at her clothing shop. Even teaching little children and sharing the love of Jesus to the youth at her church. She will be missed by so many people she touched along her journey in life.
Her celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Sneads Ferry Presbyterian Church in Sneads Ferry.
