WILMINGTON — Robert “Robbie” Charles Layne, 45, of Wilmington died on Saturday, March 11, 2023. He was born on October 4, 1977 in Bryn Mawr, PA to Charles E. Moore and Linda Zajicek Moore.
Robbie moved to Wilmington at a young age and attended Alderman Elementary School, Cape Fear Academy, then moved to South Carolina to attend Ministry School. He received an Annual Award of Excellence in Student Ministry and Preaching.
Robbie loved the Lord, church, and music. Over the years he served as youth pastor at Beulaville Baptist Church and a church in Fredericksburg, VA. He served as youth pastor and minister of music at Eastpoint Non Denominational Church in Wilmington, DE.
Robbie was loved by his father Charles E Moore of Aiken, SC, mother Linda Moore of Venice, FL, sister Kimberly Black and Niece Jen Black of East McKeesport, PA, uncle Lou Ryan and Family in San Diego, CA, friends, and extended family.
