OAK ISLAND — Tammy Jo Bobruska, age 56, of Oak Island, North Carolina passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023.
Mrs. Bobruska was born March 21, 1966 in Danville, Virginia. She loved the beach and had lived on Oak Island for the last 15 years.
Tammy is survived by her husband, Nick Bobruska; three children, Brandon Powell, Cory Powell, and Brandy Sams; three grandchildren, Blake, Jacob, and McKayla; her mother, Betty Jo Whitfield; and a brother, Ron Lewis. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Lewis.
A memorial service will be held at a later date on Oak Island and in Danville, Virginia.
