CAROLINA BEACH — Sheila Rose Long, age 71, of Carolina Beach, NC passed away to her eternal home in Heaven on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center in Wilmington, NC.
Sheila loved outdoor activities such as kayaking, riding her bike on the island, boating and fishing. Sheila loved her church family. She was a Sunday School teacher many years. Sheila was active in all of these until her health became an issue.
Sheila was predeceased by her mother Rosa Lee Foley and her sister Sharon Garcia. She is survived by her loving husband (David), her daughter (Adrienne Renee Baines), granddaughter (Ella Grace Baines), daughter (Shannon Rosemary Kinney), grandson (Connor J Kinney), and granddaughter (Caitlin Emma Kinney), as well as her Brother Don Bogenreif and sister-in-law, Donna Bogenreif, and several nieces.

Celebration of Life will be Sunday, February 5, 2023. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Celebration of Life service will be at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Carolina Beach, 409 N Lake Park Blvd, Carolina Beach, NC.
