NEW HANOVER COUNTY — Anatole “Tony” Bestuchev, 76, passed away September 26, 2022, after a lengthy illness. He was born to Alexander and Anna (Dacuik) Bestuchev in Germany.
He is survived by his wife, Eve Morris, who he had been married to for 20 years. He served in the U.S. Army. Tony enjoyed many activities, one of which was scuba diving. He was an active volunteer with the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office, doing various activities. His working years were spent as a Hardware Engineer.
A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2022, 11:00 AM, at Wilmington Chapel, 1535 S. 41st Street, Wilmington, NC with a reception immediately following.
