SOUTHPORT — Joan (Naedler) Stetson, age 87, passed on Friday, September 24, 2022. Born February 20, 1935 in Jersey City, New Jersey, Joan was a long time resident of Ridgefield Park.
She is survived by her loving husband John, daughters Donna and Jackie, their spouses Gene and Bob and three grandchildren, Nicholas, Vincent and Zackery and most recent addition to her family, great grandson Colson.
Her love of sports, the New York Giants and New Jersey Devils was only exceeded by her passion for bowling and most importantly her devotion and love of her soul mate John and the joy she received from her daughters and grandchildren on a daily basis. She and her husband were long standing members of Saint Francis Church and the Emblem and Elks club. Traveling and dancing with her husband and the love she received from her family were her most cherished memories.
Private family services will be held Wednesday September 28 at Peacock – Newnam & White Funeral Service in Southport, North Carolina, where Joan most recently resided with her husband.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
