LELAND — Ann Elizabeth Mangum McNeill, 88, of Leland died on September 20, 2022. She was born in Durham, North Carolina on November 14, 1933 to John and Rosa Mangum.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her brother William “Buddy” Mangum
Ann was a private person and lived a simple life. She loved cats and was gifted in crocheting. She was a giving and loving person.
She is survived by her son Franklin McNeill and wife Laura, daughters; Lynn Strickland, Susan Fulton, grandchildren; Matthew McNeill, Christina Sweetland, Johnathan McNeill, Jeremy Strickland, Jeffrey Maultsby, Tonya Woody, several great grandchildren, sister Jean McLean, brother John Allen Mangum and extended family.
A memorial service will be held 2pm on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation, 1535 South 41st Street. The family will receive guests 30 minutes prior.
