BURGAW — Dylan Spencer Potter, our beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend has left our world way too soon. On Monday, October 25, 2021 Dylan went to join the angels in God’s heavenly home.
He was born July 6, 2003 in Wilmington. Dylan, being the smart young youth that he was graduated early from Pender High School. He also worked with family as an HVAC installer at Bryan’s Heating and Air in Burgaw.
Dylan is survived by his mother, Shannon Jones and her husband, Bryan; brothers, Luke Potter, Jax Potter, and Addison Jones; sister, Alyssa Jones; grandparents, Jeff and Clara Gilbert; many additional family along with numerous friends.
Dylan was fun loving, always lifting up the spirits of others with his infectious laugh and terrific smile. For pleasure he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brothers. Dylan was proud to be an American in the good old USA. Being an insulin dependent diabetic, Diabetes was always a challenge to be dealt with for Dylan. He dealt with it with his favorite saying, “It is what it is.” With his outgoing personality, Dylan, made many friends and touched many lives in his short time on this earth. Dylan was loved and his passing leaves a hole in our hearts.
There will be a viewing and visitation 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home Burgaw Chapel.
