ROCKY POINT — Alma L. Hewett, age 90, of Rocky Point, North Carolina passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021.
Alma was born in Richmond County, NC on March 20, 1931 to the late Joseph Vance Smith and Cora Lee Ward Smith. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Armond H. Caison; brothers: William M. Smith and Joseph K. Smith; sister, Ida L. Navroth and grand daughter, Nancy Ann Carter.
Alma enjoyed gardening, fishing, bingo but she loved God’s blessings and always wanted to share them with her family, neighbors and friends. She loved music and Jesus. She loved everyone.
Alma is survived by her daughters, Mary L. Harts, Ruby Rogers, Wanda Thompson, Polly Caison; sons, Willie H. Caison, Shelton A Caison; sister, Rosetta Williamson; brother, James L. Smith; 11 grand children; 28 great grand children; 7 great great grand children and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will occur Monday, August 30, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Pastor, Larry Ward officiating, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, North Carolina 28412. An Interment will occur Monday, August 30, 2021 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, North Carolina 28412.
