In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William Moore of Wilmington and Bruce Moore and Jerry Moore, both of Winnabow.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Belle Fulford Moore, seven weeks short of their 68th wedding anniversary; daughters, Teresa Moore, Donna Thompson (Steve) and Beverly Moore (Mark); grandchildren, Raegan Moore, Cameron Moore, Taylor Anderson, Charles Anderson and Stephanie King (Tony); great-grandchildren, Jade Docking and Luke King; brothers, Thurman Moore of Newport News, Virginia, and Reggie Moore of Winnabow; and sisters, Eva Mae Willetts of Bolivia, Patricia Thorton of Harrells and Julie Moore of Winnabow.

Robert was a multi-talented man who retired from Godwin Oil Company after 38 years, worked with his father at their pulp wood mill, once owned a shrimp boat, flew his own plane, traded and restored antique firearms, always had an antique car in his garage that he worked on restoring, and loved making homemade wine. He was known for his sense of humor; love of family and animals; and how he always helped his family, friends and neighbors.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
