WILMINGTON — Saundra Kay Meredith, 74, died Thursday, May 6, 2021. She was born Oct. 16, 1946, to Bryan Lacy and Bertha Firkins Lacy in Clark County, Indiana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Freda Coburn and Mittie Taylor; and three brothers, Fred Lacy, Harold Lacy and Bryce Lacy.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald “Ron” Meredith Sr.; daughter, Kimberly Huffman of Navassa; son, Ronald “Ronnie” Meredith Jr. of Wilmington; grandchildren, Private First Class Austin Huffman, Haylee Huffman, Nathin James and Tristin James; sister, Mel D. Sprague of Satellite Beach, Florida; brother, Alfred “Cotton” Lacy of Lewiston, Idaho; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, May 10, at Coble Funeral and Cremation Chapel with Pastor Billy Batten officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
