WILMINGTON — Daniel DeVane Sr., 75, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021.
His love and memories will remain in the hearts of his children, Kevin B. DeVane (Kathy) of Wilmington, Angela F. DeVane of Wilmington and Daniel DeVane Jr. (Heather) of Katy, Texas; mother, Ruby E. DeVane of Castle Hayne; siblings, Wanda Seed (Andrew) of Wilmington, Girlvester Anderson (James) of Burgaw and Mary J. Williams of Castle Hayne; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, March 19, at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington. The viewing will be walk-through only with no lingering or gathering. Inurnment services will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, March 22, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington. Kindly note that for the protection of all in attendance, current health and safety protocols are in place where masks and social distancing are required.
