Sue Ann Cundiff, 75, loved time spent at the beach with friends and family

SOUTHPORT — Sue Ann Cundiff, 75, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021.
Mrs. Cundiff was born July 31, 1945, in Rheinlander, Wisconsin, to the late Frank and Betty Rezarch.

Sue had worked for the FBI for three years and as a dental technician in Rheinlander, Wisconsin, where she and Dan met and were married. For the next 36 years, she and her husband lived in numerous locations across the country.

Prior to Dan retiring in 2001, Sue designed and built their retirement home in St. James. In building the home, Sue asked Dan what her budget was. Dan answered, “unlimited.” To which Sue replied, “that’s not enough.” Sue will be remembered as a very caring, generous and compassionate person. She loved entertaining, working in her kitchen and spending time on the beach with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Laurie Bly.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Dan Cundiff; daughter, Dr. Marne Tower, and her husband, Jason; grandson, Max Tower; and two brothers, Tim and John Rezarch.

A funeral Mass will be held at a later date at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Southport.
