SUNSET BEACH — James Clayton “Jim” Slusher, 71, passed away Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, at his home. Jim was born March 15, 1949, son of the late Clayton Slusher and Mary Sizemore.

He enjoyed living at the beach, fishing and cooking. Everyone around him enjoyed his great sense of humor. He loved his family and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Slusher of Sunset Beach; two children, Christian Slusher and Benjamin Slusher; two grandchildren, Reilly and Lincoln; three sisters, Ruth Schwartz, Peggy Kenney and Deborah Jones; brother, Timothy Slusher; father and mother-in-law, Lawrence and Barbara Ledman; brothers-in-law, Jay Ledman, Ken Ledman and Stuart Ledman; sister-in-law, Darcy Mason; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family; and his loving canine companion, Gretta.

In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.
